HERNDON, VA (November, 9 2016) – As a leader in Cloud Communications and an industry expert in SIP Trunking, nexVortex has extended its Managed SIP (mSIP) offering to include a cloud-based direct connect service called mSIP cloudConnect. mSIP was first announced by nexVortex in September as a service which measures, reports, and guarantees voice quality for connecting premise-based PBX systems to the Cloud.

mSIP cloudConnect extends that capability to users of voice applications hosted in some of the leading cloud service providers. nexVortex teamed with a long standing partner, BVoIP Inc. to directly connect the BVoIP hosted voice platform to the nexVortex mSIP network. BVoIP hosts its voice application in the Rackspace cloud and nexVortex interconnects its privately managed voice network directly to the Rackspace cloud which allows voice traffic to transit directly from BVoIP’s platform to the PSTN cleanly and efficiently.

Voice quality measurements are taken, collected, analyzed, and then accessed via a private portal which makes it easy to both prove and see the quality of each call at various points along the call path. The solution has a set of service monitoring tools which provide automatic alerts if any problems are found.

“Quality voice service is critical to effective business communications,” said Wes Rogers, founder and COO of nexVortex. “By extending our managed SIP offering to include hosted applications residing in the clouds of leading cloud providers, we provide customers a better voice quality experience. We teamed with BVoIP because they understand how important it is to provide channel partners the services and tools they need to compete, whether they deliver premise or cloud-based voice solutions. While we are first launching service for hosted voice in the Rackspace cloud, we will continue to expand into other applications as well as into other cloud provider networks like AWS.”

“BVoIP has been a long time partner of nexVortex,” said George Bardissi, founder and CEO of BVoIP. “While our channel partners have bundled nexVortex standard SIP Trunking service with our solutions for many years, the nexVortex mSIP cloudConnect sets the standard for providing hosted voice customers guaranteed voice quality. This combined answer clearly raises the bar moving forward and empowers our partners to deliver a superior offering to their customers.”

As older circuit switched infrastructure and equipment are retired at an accelerated rate, solutions like those delivered by nexVortex and BVoIP will continue to grow as Cloud Communication Services becomes the new standard.
