bvoip-guides.pngI just had a BVoIP partner contact me with frustration over the lack of ability to create a recurring voice conference bridge every morning as their sales team has a morning "huddle" call. I informed him that this has been a long standing feature request that has not been addressed as of this time.

After going through some possible alternatives and outside third party services we came up with a potential work around. If you call into the conference bridge extension (either by dedicated inbound DID or by dialing the conference bridge extension) and dial the conference bridge number that you want the system will prompt you if you want to create a conference call with that "pin" number press *. As long as the first caller presses * then the rest of the callers that use that conference id will have a valid call to connect into. So if you send a recurring calender invite out with the conference bridge call-in number and conference ID outside of the phone system (like google calendar or Microsoft Outlook, etc) and the first person presses * when trying to dial into the bridge as long as that person is an internal extension user it would make it "feel" like the recurring call is possible.
