For those of you who are not familiar with Comptia: It is the world's largest tech association for the IT industry as a whole. You may have recognized them for their certification programs that have been a staple for a long time. Comptia holds several events through the year around the world and ChannelCon is a signature event which is in Austin, TX this year.
Who Attends ChannelCon?
The cool thing about ChannelCon is that many of the familiar faces, names, and vendors in the IT channel that you are familiar or doing business with will most likely be there including us here @ BVoIP. You can find a full list of those here.
What is there to do?
There is plenty to do including but not limited to: Getting more certifications, joining in on the different Comptia Community meetings to chip in on topics like Cloud, Manged Services, etc, and even coming to see your friends @ BVoIP with a breakout session on Monday @ 10:30AM in Room 404. You bet there is! If you haven't been to Austin before or had a chance to check out the scene it's a pretty popular place with a cool vibe. I'm sure if you ask you will find out about fun events going on sponsored by some of the vendors... cough!
