Configuring the Phone System Fax

This article will provide a walkthrough on setting up the fax functionality within the bvoip phone system.

Expected Functionality

This method will make it where faxes can only be received to the designated number as a PDF file. 

Setting up without ATA Device

1. Log into the bvoip phone system.
2. Click on the Dashboard drop-down menu.
   
3. Go to the Settings subsection.
4. Select the Fax option.
   
5. In the Default Email Address field, input an email address to forward the faxes received to.
6. The default built-in extension is 888.
7. Scroll down to the Select a DID/DDI from the List below section.
8. Click on the Add a DID/DDI button. The Select a DID/DDI from the List Below pop-up will appear.
9. Click on the plus button beside the desired DIDs to assign one or more available DIDs to the fax server.
10. Click the Save button. Your fax server is now configured!
