eFax Services Setup
This article will provide a walkthrough on setting up fax services through bvoip's partner, SIPTrunk.com.
eFax Services
Fax services are not handled on the bvoip side, but rather on the SIP Trunk provider side. If your current SIP Trunk provider does not offer this service, we recommend that you consider using our partnership with SIPTrunk.com in order to arrange eFax services.
Ordering eFax Services
To order to receive eFax services with SIPTrunk.com, an order must be made through their portal.
- Log into the SIPTrunk.com Portal.
- Go to the Dashboard Menu option.
- Select the desired Customer.
- Click on the Fax tab.
- Go to the Click Here text to be sent over to the orders form.
- Scroll down to the Fax to Email DID option.
- Select the number of Fax to Email DIDs needed from the drop-down.
- Click on the Review Order Button. The page will refresh to an order summary.
- Click on the Send Order button.
Once the order is processed, you can set up the eFax service!
Setting up eFax Services
- Go to the Dashboard option.
- Click on the DIDs tab.
- Scroll down to the Fax number that was ordered.
- Click on the pencil icon.
- In the Delivering Faxes to text box, input the desired email address.
- In the Caller ID text box, input the desired phone number.
- Set the Notification drop-box onto on.
- Click the Submit button.
- Go to the Fax tab. The page will reflect as seen below.
