Audio File Guide
This article will provide some insight on the recommended sizing and format for audio files to use in the phone system.
Format and Sizing
At this time. the audio files allowed in the bvoip phone system must be in WAV format. The audio file has a max size of 100MB and must also meet the following criteria:
- PCM
- 8 kHz
- 16 bit
- Mono
Have a Longer Audio File?
If you have a long audio file that covers several different audios, consider breaking the audio down into several files and Creating an Audio Playlist instead.
Conversion Tool
If you are having trouble with sizing the file or have an existing audio file, please consider using this audio conversion tool to size the audio correctly.
