Voicemail Drop 1Stream Feature

This article will provide a walkthrough on how Administrative users can setup the 1Stream voicemail drop feature.

1Stream Level Feature Notice

This feature is available for only Power level 1Stream users and up. If you would like this feature to be available, then please reach out to your bvoip Sales Representative to upgrade user licensing. 

What is a Voicemail Drop? 

The Voicemail Drop feature in the 1Stream client allows call agents to create voicemail messages in advance and choose from a list of their pre-made voicemails to send when they reach a client's voicemail box. 

Creating the Pre-set Voicemails

  1. Log into the 1Stream Portal.
  2. Go to the Administration menu.

  3. Choose the Manage Organization option. The page will refresh.
  4. Scroll down to the 1stream Administration section. vmdrop6
  5. In the VM Record Extension field, input the desired extension to be used for recording voicemail drops. 
  6. Scroll down to the Voicemail Files section. vmdrop1
  7. Click on the green circled + button. The Add New Voicemail File pop-up will appear. vmdrop2
  8. In the Extension field, add the extension number.
  9. In the Name field, add the name of the voicemail file.
  10. Click the Save button. The pop-up will refresh to show the Edit Voicemail File window.vmdrop3
  11. Set the Status to be Active or Inactive. 
  12. In the Default Disposition field, select a pre-created disposition or leave blank. 
  13. In the Default Note field, create a note to automatically apply when this voicemail option is selected or leave blank. 
  14. Follow the recording instructions on the pop-up to record the voicemail file. Once the recording is done, it will reflect on the voicemail file. vmdrop4
  15. Click the Save button.
