Activating the MPP Integration

This article will provide insight on how to setup devices to use the Managed Provisioning Portal with the built-in integration into the bvoip phone system.

Account Creation and Activation

By default, accounts will be actively built out into the Managed Provisioning Portal through the bvoip phone system. In order to setup a device into the Managed Provisioning Portal, the extension will need to have MPP enabled for each extension. 

Activating the Interface

1. Log into the bvoip phone system.
2. Go to the Extensions menu.
   
3. Select the Devices submenu option.
   
4. Click on the Run Health Check button. A display message of Health Check Completed will appear when completed.

Configuring a Device 

1. Go to the Extensions menu.

   

2. Select the Extensions option.

3. Click the Edit button for the desired extension.

   

4. Go to the General tab.

5. Scroll down to the User Information section.

   

6. Locate the MPP drop-down.

7. Select the Yes option from the MPP drop-down. 

8. Click the Save button. This will close out the extension.

9. Go to the Extensions drop-down menu. 
10. Select the Devices submenu. 
11. Click on the Sync All Devices button. Each device will show the word configured when completed. 

The extension will then automatically have any phones that are setup on the extension and MPP compatible provisioned.  If the phone has not been setup on the extension yet, please refer to our General Provisioning Setup Guide. A factory reset will be needed to complete the provisioning process for the phone.
