Transferring a Call Using the bvoip Softphone

This article will provide a walkthrough on transferring a call in the bvoip softphone application.

Transferring a Call

As shown below, calls can be transferred in the Desktop and Mobile applications by clicking the transfer button on a live call to transfer a call to a colleague's extension or a phone system destination such a ring group, call queue or IVR.

  1. Click on the Transfer button during a live call to initiate the call transfer.

  2. Dial in the extension or number to be transferred.

  3. Click on the the Transfer button.

Cancelling the Call Transfer

To cancel the transfer, click on the Cancel Transfer button. This can only be done at the time when the extension to transfer is to be input.
