SipStation Caller ID Configuration

This article will provide a walkthrough on setting the inbound caller ID in the bvoip Phone System to work as intended.

Setting the Caller ID for SipStation

When using SipStation as your preferred SIP Trunk provider, there is an additional step required to ensure the inbound caller ID functions correctly. Following the below steps will ensure your trunk is configured correctly.

1. Login to the bvoip phone system.
2. Click on the Call Flow drop-down menu.
   
3. Go to the SIP Trunks subsection.
4. Select the edit button on the desired trunk or create a new one.
5. Click on the Inbound Parameters tab.
6. Scroll down to the Caller Number/Name Field Mapping section.
7. Select the desired options from the drop-downs.
8. Click the Save button.
