This article will provide a walkthrough on the best practices for adding a new user into the bvoip and 1Stream phone system.

Repurposing User Extensions

As a best practice, we do not recommend replacing users on existing user extensions in the bvoip phone system due to issues that occur, especially if you're planning to utilize 1Stream. If an extension user is no longer needed, we recommend deleting the former extension. If you have a new user, we recommend that they get a new extension. 

The Recommended Path
