Multifactor Authentication

Multi-Factor Authentication Section

This article will provide a guide on the ways that multi-factor authentication can be managed in the bvoip Phone System.

MFA Requirements

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is required for all logins through the Control login portals, and users are prompted on their first login to configure their MFA if it is unconfigured.

Troubleshooting Issues

The articles in this section will assist with varying levels of issues with logging into the bvoip phone system as well as troubleshooting Multi-factor Authentication.

SSO instead of MFA

For customers that utilize the Microsoft 365 platform, you can instead configure Single Sign-On (SSO), and then the separate MFA code is no longer required. Users simply press one button to sign in to any of the login portals.
