Mobile Devices BLF Status Not Updating
This article will provide insight on how to correct issues when the BLF is not updating when answering calls via the mobile application.
The expected behavior when a call comes in and is answered, the extension will turn red showing that the extension is on a call and not available. If users find that while using the softphone mobile application and taking a call that their BLF status still shows as available with a green light, but the physical phone shows that they are on a call with a red light - the below steps will help resolve the issue.
Correcting Mobile BLF Not Updating
- Log into the bvoip phone system.
- Click on the Extensions drop-down menu.
- Go to the Extensions option.
- Select the Edit button on the desired extension(s).
- Go to the Options tab.
- Scroll down to the Troubleshooting section.
- Click the support Re-Invites check box.
- Click on the Support 'Replaces' header check box.
- Click on the Save button.
