How to Pick up Calls from Other Extensions

This article will provide a walkthrough on how to answer calls from other extensions without moving to the other phone.

Call Pick-up from Other Extensions

If a particular extension is ringing that will not be able to picked up, users can take the call using the Call Pick-up feature code by dialing *20* <extension number>.

This code will redirect an active call from the specified extension to the extension that code was dialed from.

Don't Know the Ringing Extension?

Calls can also be retrieved from a ringing extension without specifying the extension number by just using the feature code:  *20* followed by the send key. This will redirect the first available active call to the extension that the code is dialed from.
