Enhancement and Idea Requests

This article will provide a walkthrough on how to submit enhancement requests for the bvoip phone system.

Enhancements and Ideas can be submitted directly into the Enhancement and Idea Portal, located in the bvoip phone system.  In this portal, new enhancements and ideas can be submitted  and upvoted by all clients.

Locating the Enhancement and Idea Portal

1. Log into the bvoip phone system. 
2. Click on the Information icon. A drop-down menu will appear. 
    
3. Click on the Enhancements and Idea Portal option in the drop-down menu. 
   
4. In the expanded menu, click on the Enhancements and Idea Portal option. The portal will open in a new browser tab.

Getting Access

1. Scroll down to the Login / Signup hyperlinked text.
2. Click on the text. A pop-up will appear, asking for your email address. 
3. Click the Next button. The pop-up will refresh.
4. In the Name fields, input your first and last name.
5. Click the Signup button. A verification email will then be issued.
6. Click on the Verify Email Address and Create Password button. A new tab will open.
7. In the Password fields, input a desired password. 
8. Click on the Change Password button. 

The page will then refresh to show the Enhancements and Idea Portal. 

Submitting an Enhancement or Idea

1. Log into the Enhancement and Idea Portal.
2. Click on the Add a New Idea button. The page will refresh to show the Add a New Idea page.
3. In the Add a New Idea page, select a category for your idea from the drop-down. The page will expand with two more fields.
4. In the Your Idea field, input the title of your idea.
5. In the Please Add More Details textbox, add as many details as possible to elaborate on your idea. 
6. Click on the Share Idea button to submit.
