Accessing the Neutron Application

This article will provide a walkthrough on activating and getting logged into the Neutron desktop application.

Downloading the Application

To download the Neutron application, an extension must be built out for the user. If this has not been done, please see the Creating Extensions article. 

1. Go to the Extension section.
   
2. Select the Extensions subsection.
3. Click the Edit icon next to the desired extension.
4. Go to the Softphone tab.
5. Scroll to the Neutron App section.
   
6. Click on the Download button. A pop-up menu will appear with different OS versions.
    
7. Select the Windows application option. The application will then download to your device. 
8. Click on the file to open it and follow the installation wizard. Once the installation of the application is complete, you will be prompted with the Neutron login screen. 

Accessing the Neutron Application

When the extension is created, a welcome email for Neutron will be issued. If it is not received, it can be re-issued from the phone system. 

1. Go to the Extension section.
   
2. Select the Extensions subsection.
3. Click the Edit icon next to the desired extension.
4. Go to the Softphone tab.
5. Scroll to the Neutron App section.
   
6. Click on the Welcome Email button.
   

The welcome email will be sent out with the login details.
