Phone System Q Manager
This article will provide a walkthrough on how to utilize the Q manager function of the softphone desktop application.
What is the Q Manager?
The Q Manager feature in the Desktop application helps monitor and manage users in the call queues for the manager of the queue. Users who are not managers of call queues will need to use the 1Stream Queue Login Tool to globally log in and out of call queues without Call Queue Manager intervention.
For further information on setting a user as a call queue manager, please see our Setting a Call Queue Manager article.
Accessing the Q Manager
- Log into the softphone Desktop Application.
- Click on the horizontal 3 dots. A pop-up menu will appear.
- Select the Q-Manager option. The Q Manager pop-up window will appear.
All of the call queues that the call manager has access to existing calls on the top view and on the bottom view, there will be tabs that break down the call queues that the manager has access to.
