Another year is in the books. Welcome to 2018! Last year was an interesting year for BVoiP where we grew our platform, expanded our partner community, and added to names and faces to the BVoiP team. Looking back at 2017 and what we accomplished makes me feel like we started down several roads wihch is good but we still have work to do!

So in 2018 we will be building off goals and visions that we started on in 2017 along with some additional objectives...

Streamlined User Experience - A continuation from 2017

2017 Goal: We have many places to get things done between our Cloud PBX platform, integrations portals, support portals, billing platform, ideas portal, up time and maintenance portal, management and provisioning platform, and so on. There is a lot going on between all of those parts and we want to start bringing that all together to provide a more focused way to get around and get things done. 

2018: We were able to bring some of this together but not to the degree we wanted. Now with additional in house developers we will be pushing a fast forward button on this goal so that we can streamline the efforts. Our goal is to make things as turn key as possible and with help from our partner community we believe we can get there this year.

Automate Processes - A continuation from 2017

2017 Goal: We are in the tech business just like our partners. By working on automating our internal processes and also providing mechanisms for our partners to speed up how they interact with our systems on a day-to-day basis we feel we can make life easier. This isn’t just for our staff we are also working to to help sales, back office, and technical staff efforts from a BVoIP perspective. Keep an eye on our Unified Management and Provisioning Platform for starters as well as our continued effort to bring meaningful integrations and tools for your teams and your down stream customers.

2018: We worked for the better part of 2017 trying to get to faster deployments, easier migrations, and more self service. This was a larger project than we imagined which took several twists and turns which took longer amounts of time and more resources. I'm happy to say that this goal is almost at the finish line. We are very excited about it and we believe some of our soon to be announced innovation will help our partners spend less time and be able to grow faster with our solutions.

Partner Collaboration - A continuation from 2017

2017 Goal: We built BVoIP out of an MSP and continue to focus our efforts on the IT and Managed Services arena. This year we plan to build on top of our events from last year as well as provide additional resources for training and on boarding. We are soon to announce our partner advisory council and integration advisory board so that we can create a more formal avenue to build a path forward together.

2018: We were successful in building our more avenues into our partner community. We assembled our Partner Advisory Council, we started more regular communication and updates for the partner community as a whole, and we have started building managed programs and marketing resources to help our partners grow. With the addition of Alec Stanners, Director of Marketing & Strategic Alliances, to our team we feel 2018 will be a very successful year for BVoiP where you will see us in more places and be able to interact with our team more frequently. 

Integration - New for 2018

A new goal for 2018 is to further our integration efforts. We felt that bringing a lot of this effort internal will help us shine in this area. We have over 180 integrations today but we want to build on that and we believe we have a strong plan to accomplish even tighter integration with the tools you use to make your businesses run. Stay tuned in early 2018 for some announcements on this one.

Additional UC Options to Choose From - New for 2018

A new goal for 2018 is the power of choice. We have heard from our partner community that everything doesnt always fit in one basket. In 2018, you will find that BVoiP will open up additional avenues for our partners to choose from which will give them several tools in the box to solve the needs of their down stream customers. I know that sounds vague but stay tuned and we will expand on this. Remember, the power of CHOICE!

Expansion of International Footprint - New for 2018

We have been very successful in growing our partner base in other parts of the world outside of the US. The world is a big place and we will be specifically concentrating on broadening our international footprint in 2018. Don't worry we are not veering away from the US we simply are making sure we give our international community love to help them grow too!

Closing Thoughts

Thank you to our team who has worked very hard getting us to this point. And even more thanks to our partners who have grown with us and will continue to work with us here in 2018. I think BVoiP is hitting a nice stride and we hope you will be proud of our efforts in the coming year.
